Philosophy Statement

The community of people who come together at Auckland Girls' Grammar School Childcare are committed to a continuing partnership which recognises the individual learner together with their Whanau and their teachers.

We create a dynamic early childhood care and education programme incorporating Te Tiriti O Waitangi alongside our emergent curriculum and the gifts of Te Whariki.

We celebrate children's individuality and we provide an environment that supports and develops their learning as active participants through play.

The teachers at Auckland Girls' Grammar School Childcare Centre work collaboratively in an atmosphere of good will, respect and trust, to ensure the centre is a well resourced, safe and healthy place.

We operate Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm.

We close for all public holidays.

There is no charge for the 2 week summer break.

Degree in ECE, First Aid Cert.

I believe in a nurturing environment where the child is valued as an individual. I believe in an environment that is stimulating and encourages children to be creative, imaginative and to be the free-spirit they are. I enjoy nature and being outdoors. I love reading (when I find the chance) and just enjoying my time up north with family and friends.
