I am married to John, the mother of two sons and a daughter, grandmother to my grandson and grand-daughter and have a lovely daughter in law.
Respectful caregiving and learning through play informs my practice. I am a Westie who loves the Waitakere Ranges and the bush, gardening, cooking, reading, and our dog, cat and chooks. I speak English and Dutch

I am keen on continuing to support our wonderful tamariki who are absurdly bright, highly energetic and ambitious in their endless curiosity and creativity. I enjoy hearing their voices and supporting them to pursue their interests. They are such bright stars and are my greatest teachers always.

I am married with a baby boy Jiwoo. I love to ride a mountain bike and enjoy taking photos of beautiful NZ nature. I believe that my task as a teacher is to make the child feel good and confident about himself/herself through his/her learning experiences in a safe environment.

Mother of 2 boys – both now at school. Our family interests include tramping, sailing and enjoying the outdoors. My interest lies in the area of creativity and how this links to the well-being of children physically, emotionally and spiritually. Languages spoken: French and English

I enjoy cooking, reading and going on walks to the park with the older children. I love to create games and activities for the children to support their development and interests. I like to spend time with my sisters, camping and youth group events.

 

Maryanne Lidgard - Under 2 teacher

Degree in ECE, First Aid Cert.

I believe in a nurturing environment where the child is valued as an individual. I believe in an environment that is stimulating and encourages children to be creative, imaginative and to be the free-spirit they are. I enjoy nature and being outdoors. I love reading (when I find the chance) and just enjoying my time up north with family and friends.

 

Jay (Jeongim) Shim - Under 2 / Over 2 Teacher

Bachelor of Teaching ECE, First Aid Cert.

I am a mother of one son. My interests are music and art; singing, playing piano, balloon art and paper craft. I love being a part of children's learning and development journey through their early years. I believe that children's enthusiasm, excitement and sense of awe are something to be valued and treasured. I am passionate about working with children and I am committed to the Korean community and church community for young children. Language spoken: Korean, English.
