Year 13 Tourism explore Rotorua

Published: Thursday, 03 June 2021 09:21

Sixteen students and two teachers recently spent two fun, exciting and of course educational days exploring all that Rotorua has to offer as one of NZs premium tourist destinations.  They rolled rolling down a hill in the Zorb and listened to a talk by the  founder of the companyabout how the business started in the early 2000’s. They rode the gondola to the Skyline and raced down on the Luge and were briefed on the operations and history of the development of this attraction.  At the Rotorua museum they had an informative chat about the history of Tourism in NZ  and The Bay of Plenty.  The Redwood Night Tree walk was a highlight.. Before coming home they  visited Katoa Jet boats for a speedy cruise on lake Rotorua.
